BEAMS Hospitals had received an investment and in response needed to expand from a specialised minimally invasive surgery centre into a nationally recognised healthcare network across metros and non-metros in India. The ambition was to scale the institution while preserving the deeply personalised, warm and human-centred care experience that differentiated it within the healthcare sector.
EuMo was engaged to develop an integrated healthcare brand ecosystem spanning strategic positioning, visual identity, hospital spatial language, patient experience systems and employee enculturation.
The intervention repositioned BEAMS around the idea of “Accomplished Care” combining advanced surgical expertise and minimally invasive medical technology with emotionally reassuring healthcare experiences designed around patients and their families.

As BEAMS expanded into a multi-city healthcare network, the larger ambition was to move beyond the conventional perception of hospitals as intimidating clinical institutions. The organisation sought to create a differentiated healthcare ecosystem centred around comfort, trust, recovery and emotional wellbeing — positioning the hospital as a place for treatment, with a humane and supportive care environment for both patients and their families.

The key insight emerged through extensive healthcare ethnography and stakeholder interviews conducted by EuMo across hospital management, senior surgeons, healthcare staff, repeat patients, visiting patients and accompanying family members.
The research revealed that patients did not primarily describe BEAMS through clinical terminology. Instead, they consistently described it as warm, personal, stress-free, attentive and “un-hospital-like”.This insight became the strategic foundation for the brand transformation.
EuMo recognised that the institution’s real differentiator was the rare coexistence of—

reduced stress and faster recovery experiences.

The challenge was therefore to create a healthcare brand system that balanced medical accomplishment with warmth, reassurance and emotional care.

The positioning articulated both the mastery and expertise of the surgical teams and the deeply personalised care experience surrounding the patient journey.
