ASSOCHAM aimed to transform its institutional identity into a symbol of contemporary Indian enterprise, moving beyond conventional chamber-of-commerce representation towards a more vibrant and globally relevant expression of industry leadership.
The ambition was to reposition the chamber as a dynamic and progressive voice for business, capable of representing innovation, inclusive growth and national economic confidence across sectors and global markets.

The identity therefore needed to function at both an institutional and symbolic level.
EuMo approached the assignment as an exercise in institutional branding and nation-scale business representation, where the identity needed to embody optimism, authority and cultural rootedness simultaneously.
At a time of growing confidence in Indian industry, the opportunity was to create a symbol that felt—
distinctly Indian,
globally resonant,
energetic and contemporary,
intellectually grounded.
The resulting identity drew inspiration from the Sun, referenced in Indian mythology as a source of intellect, truth and energy. The symbol represents vitality and optimism, empowerment and growth, knowledge and clarity, continuity and sustenance.
The visual system positioned ASSOCHAM as a catalyst for economic progress and collective aspiration.
