The ambition was to create a space that expresses the firm’s spirit of irreverence and inventiveness, encourages interaction among teams and moves away from the conventional perception of consulting offices as formal and rigid environments.

The key insight was that Boston Consulting Group’s culture thrives on sharp thinking, wit and unconventional perspectives. The workplace environment therefore needed to embody this mindset rather than follow traditional corporate office design norms.
The existing environment, defined by heavy materials and formal layouts, did not support this expression. The opportunity was to introduce environmental branding and spatial interventions that surprise, engage and provoke thought while remaining aligned with the firm’s intellectual rigor.
EuMo designed the Boston Consulting Group workplace as a culture-driven office environment using environmental branding, interactive elements and unconventional design to strengthen internal identity and redefine the consulting workplace experience.
