The project set out to create a world-class luxury jungle camp that could coexist harmoniously with the fragile ecosystem of Bandhavgarh while delivering an elevated and immersive hospitality experience.
EuMo designed the experiential masterplan, spatial strategy and luxury camp environment for The Untamed Bandhavgarh by TUTC, transforming an untouched grassland landscape into a refined wilderness hospitality destination rooted in sustainability, immersion and contextual luxury.

By creating a premium jungle camp that respected the ecological sensitivity of the site while offering guests an intimate connection with nature, TUTC wanted to set new benchmarks for luxury glamping in India.
The project sought to balance environmental preservation, guest safety and high-end experiential tourism, positioning the camp as a distinctive destination for global luxury travellers seeking immersive wilderness experiences.

EuMo reframed the brief from designing a temporary luxury camp into creating a low-impact experiential ecosystem where architecture, landscape and hospitality become extensions of the natural environment.
The site was located within open grasslands dotted with mature Mahua trees, all of which needed to remain undisturbed. Existing infrastructure also had to be carefully integrated into the overall guest experience while preserving the raw essence of a jungle camp.

Following a detailed site study and environmental assessment, EuMo developed a raised architectural strategy where all luxury tents were elevated on stilts. This approach protected the existing grassland, preserved natural animal movement patterns and introduced an enhanced sense of safety and visibility for guests.
The elevated platforms created uninterrupted visual connections to the surrounding forest and seasonal Flame of the Forest trees, immersing guests within the landscape while minimising physical impact on the terrain.

Hospitality and Strategic Impact
Stronger destination positioning: The camp established itself as a premium experiential wildlife hospitality destination within India’s luxury tourism landscape.
Immersive guest engagement: Elevated spatial planning and landscape integration created a deeper emotional connection between guests and the wilderness environment.
Sustainable hospitality innovation: The low-impact architectural strategy preserved the natural ecosystem while supporting high-end hospitality operations.
Distinct luxury offering: The project differentiated itself through its seamless integration of mobility, luxury and ecological sensitivity.
Global hospitality recognition: The experience received international acclaim for its unique approach to luxury glamping and personalised wilderness hospitality.
Why the Investment Mattered
The project transformed a minimally intrusive temporary camp into a long-term experiential hospitality asset capable of attracting discerning global travellers seeking authentic and immersive luxury experiences.
By integrating ecological sensitivity with elevated hospitality design, the camp created a distinctive wilderness experience that strengthens both environmental stewardship and premium tourism positioning.
The project demonstrates how experiential hospitality design, modular luxury infrastructure and landscape-led planning can redefine luxury tourism in ecologically sensitive destinations while maintaining operational flexibility and immersive guest engagement.
