Villa J is a standalone luxury villa designed within the Forest Hills Resort landscape in Mohali, Chandigarh. Overlooking the golf greens, the residence translates the client’s global travel sensibilities into a bespoke private villa that balances leisure-led living, spatial openness and understated luxury.

The ambition was to create a one-of-a-kind private villa that feels both residential and resort-like seamlessly integrating golf-course views, outdoor living and layered interior comfort. Conceived as a personal sanctuary, the villa responds closely to the client’s lifestyle, their passion for golf and a preference for relaxed, globally inspired luxury environments.
Spatial Planning as Leisure Architecture
Villa J is organised as a vertically layered residence with clearly defined public, semi-private and private zones. Living, dining and entertainment spaces are oriented to maximise visual and physical connections to the pool and surrounding landscape, reinforcing the experience of resort-style living within a private villa.
Indoor– Outdoor Continuity
Large openings, poolside terraces and landscaped edges dissolve the boundary between interior and exterior spaces. The architecture allows the villa to open toward the golf landscape while maintaining privacy, ensuring views, daylight and natural ventilation remain central to the living experience.
Interior Language: Spanish–Mediterranean Revival with Contemporary Calm
The interiors draw from Spanish–Mediterranean revival influences interpreted through a contemporary lens. Neutral palettes, textured materials, soft fabrics and refined furnishings create a calm, layered environment that feels globally inspired yet timeless.
Programmatic Comfort
Multiple bedrooms, lounges and entertainment areas allow the villa to support both intimate living and larger social gatherings. Each bedroom carries a distinct yet cohesive identity, ensuring variety while maintaining an overall sense of spatial harmony.
The project balances leisure-led spatial planning, refined interiors and strong indoor–outdoor connections to create a villa that feels both intimate and experiential.
