Vatika, a leading Indian real estate developer known for integrated residential and mixed-use developments, wanted to create a distinctive township identity for IndiaNXT in Gurgaon, through a cohesive environmental branding and wayfinding system that would elevate the experience of moving through the development.
EuMo developed the signage system, wayfinding strategy and street furniture design for Vatika’s IndiaNXT township. Designed across a 546-acre mixed-use development, the intervention created a unified environmental branding system that strengthens township identity, improves navigation and establishes a premium public realm experience through engineered urban design elements.

Signage & Wayfinding

Vatika’s was to create a scalable and visually unified environmental design system capable of enhancing navigation, strengthening brand perception and enriching the everyday public experience across a large mixed-use development.

EuMo approached the project as an exercise in environmental branding and urban experience design, where wayfinding systems could communicate deeper human values associated with the Vatika brand.
Through strategic interpretation workshops, three defining brand attributes emerged, commitment, trust and integrity.
These ideas were translated into a visual metaphor inspired by clasped hands, symbolising support, connection and responsibility across generations.

The concept evolved into a holistic urban design language expressed across –
township signage systems,
directional wayfinding,
bus stops,
benches,
dustbins,
public street furniture elements.
The clasp form was engineered into steel structures that appeared to support and hold each element together, creating a consistent and recognisable visual identity across the township.
The result was a unified environmental system where wayfinding, infrastructure and brand storytelling intersected through spatial design.

Why the investment mattered
The intervention transformed signage and street furniture from isolated infrastructure elements into a strategic township identity system, strengthening the perception and experience of the development at every touchpoint. By integrating branding into the public realm, Vatika created a more cohesive, navigable and memorable urban environment for residents and visitors.
The project demonstrates how environmental branding, urban wayfinding and public realm design can help real estate developers differentiate large-scale townships while reinforcing long-term brand value and place identity.
